This is the second time I have been able to play with Kolton, and is he ever cute! He’s such a good little man, and those EYES!
And that smile. I’m telling you — I have the best job in the world.
Also, he loves Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? He HAS an actual, authentic Brown Bear, and that bear makes him giggle.
I’m a huge Eric Carle fan — my boys had many of the board books he wrote and/or illustrated. Based on this shared connection, I’m pretty sure Kolton and I are kindred spirits. For book lovers, not much else is required.
We had some fun with St. Patty’s Day duds…and a bud! This bear (who is not the official Brown Bear) is wearing an outfit intended for Kolton when he was new, but Kolton made his debut juuuuust after St. Patrick’s Day last year. If we can’t photograph him in it, we’ll at least photograph him with it.
And it wouldn’t be a 1-year shoot without commemorating the big milestone!
We did a different take on the washtub photos because, come on — overalls!
We even took a family photo during Kolton’s shoot. I’m always flexible with sessions. If you can squeeze a family shot into a session that was scheduled for your child, let’s do it! I promise that you will be grateful for these captured moments when your family has grown and changed.
