We spent the weekend with my cousins and had a grand old time in and around New Woodstock, NY. What beautiful country we live in. Kathy is a hostess extraordinaire, and I don’t think I’ve ever felt so welcome and comfortable when staying in someone’s home. We didn’t want to leave.
They’re great people and fun to hang out with, and Jerry is an amazing photographer. He shared some tips with me about macro shooting that really helped me garner incredible results. You can check out his work at http://photos.jerryweimar.com.
Here are a couple of favorite captures from the macro session in their yard.
And these are also among my favorites…at least partly due to the promise they hold of something incredible yet to come. Plus the bokeh…love me some bokeh. (Bokeh = the blurry parts of the photos.)
